    ok.. i just bought some tires.. and i dont think they will fit... i got the procomp 7089 and they are going to be wrapped in 285/75/16 toyo open country mud terrains.. they are 16" rims.. are they going to fit? i remember someone saying that 16" wont fit and i need 17's... can anyone elaborate?

    They'll fit. you use a 16 in rim for a tire that can be mount on a 16 in rim. 285 is width 75 is aspect ratio, the height of the side wall from the rim and 16 is rim size to be mounted on.

    16's will work with the tires you have. Are you referring to the actual rim not fitting on your truck? In that case, you may have heard that a 15" rim will not fit, and that you need a 16" rim or bigger to work on your truck.

    16" wont fit.. i had to get 17's hugmynuts has 17's he told me about the 16's how they wont fit.... so i went with 17's and 285/75/17.... man oh man... should i be expecting alot of rubbing?
