So I'm at my stealership now getting my free oil change and I decided to go to the parts department to see if the could order me some trd wheels. They can get me 4 of the silver ones for $663 - is this a good deal, also I am plannind on powdercoating them, but don't have a clue how much that would cost. Any ideas? Has anyone rhino-lined their wheels? Just another thought.. Thanks in advance and sorry if this is jumbled up, I suck at typing on my iPhone

While I would think it depends on where you live and who you know, I've gotten a set of Corvette wheels PC'd for $700. This included the prep work.

That's a pretty average price for the silver ones.

$700 for powder coating?! I know there is probably a difference in prep work and applying the powder, but I just got my 02 Tacoma wheels powder coated for $180 - everything included! And they are absolutely flawless!

Glad you said that, I almost shit my pants when I read $700 for pc. That's more than the wheels!!!

I figured rhino lining would not be the best option due to the un evenness of the product, but thought I'd throw it out there

So i can get these wheels now for just below $600 including tax, so now my question is has anyone in the southeast, preferably GA had any powder coating done?

For the people that have painted wheels, how is it holding up?

Why not run them as they are in silver? I was going to get the silver ones if I couldn't get the black or anthracite ones...

What are the part numbers on those wheels if you don't mind me asking? I want to see if my local has them on hand.

Painting will hold up well if you prep it well. Also make sure its very thin layers of spray paint. My brother refinishes wheels and some he coats and others he paints. Due to his practice the two are almost identical in finish.

currently, $350 if you get a sucker, but most likely $300 is the going rate, from what i recall.

i would try $400 on your local CL and could always bargain from there.
