who here has Nitto, Toyo, and General

I'm looking into changing my tires later on...

Nitto Grappler, Toyo open country a/t, or General Grabber 2?

I called this once place in NJ called STS which pretty sells all the toyo.. boy they were f-ing expensive!!

 

I'm getting my Toyo ATs for 195$ a piece from discount tire.

 

I'd go Toyo's.

are toyo's really that good??? People here talking about the Nittos... I like the nittos look and so does the toyo... but man... I would spending so much dough on the tires...!

 

Everybody I've talked to have loved their Toyo's.

 

I run the Nittos. No complaints so far

 

ive got nitto dunes and they are pretty decent. very little road noise and do well on dirt roads, not good for mudd though, the tread gets clogged very easy

 

I guess it comes to Nitto or Toyo and the price... since Nitto has options of load range D... I might get that but the toyo are pretty hot!

and they ride excelent

 

I was looking a the Nittos and General tires 2 weeks ago, and decided on the Bridgestone AT's.

Got them at Mr. Tire For $165 each ("on the rim and out the door + tax). Right now Bridgestone is offering a manufacture's rebate of $50 for a set of four.

Who said that? What tire pressure were they running? How often did they rotate (I rotate every oil change or 5k). Do they accelerate hard? Do they corner hard when driving? I have heard excellent tread wear for the Nittos. I can't comment fully since I have only been driving on mine a year and only have about 12k or so on them. Up to this point I still have a ton of tread.

I saw on tire rack if you buy 4 tires... you get a $100 mail in visa prepaid card.

which A/T tire did you get? the Revos? I think those are the best ones... or the Revo 2.

 

Toyo owns Nitto, but in the Toyo's they have a better rubber compound than the nittos. My buddy only got around 35000 miles and he's religious about his F350.
Also, the Toyos ATs have a better self cleaning tread than the TG's.
To me, it's worth the extra $ in the long run.

 

I love my toyo a/t. great hook up and handling in the rain. i paid 597.00 for all four. i have 265/75/16

 

I got nitto's and i like them 285-70-17 got them mounted and balanced for a little over $800
