My finger is on the trigger but I'm hesitating just a bit. And what is most painful is I basically have to ask the notorious "Does it fit question". So I've picked the wheels (Pro Comp 6004 20x9s, 5.5" backspace, 32mm offset) but I'm waffling on the tires. I want to put 285/50/20s on it. This puts me at 31.2" diameter, stock is 30.6" (TRD Sport) the width is 11.2", stock is 10.4". It seems a no brainer that they should be fine but I can't convince myself for some reason. The truck has a front spacer to level it, rest is stock. PLEASE PUSH ME!!

5.5" back space isnt gonna fit with those wheels.

Im about 75% posative on this, so someone else id gonna have to put in another 25% before you make a desision. :)

Really?? The stocks are 5.5" so I figured the 1.5" on the new wheel would just stick out, guess I need to do more research.

Good idea, I'll call a few places and see if they have one to test fit. Any thoughts on the tires?

well as far as tires, depends are you looking for an all terrain or a street tread type tire?
Nitto terra grappler is available for A/T, then theres the nitto dune grappler, kumho ecsta etc.
There are quite a few actually

Hmm... I think that may be too much BS/offest on those. Might have UCA and spindle clearance issues with them, especially trying to clear a 285. As far as diameter, yeah they should fit i'd think as it would be similar to a 265/70/17, etc.

Ok, the 32mm offset threw me for a spin, so I checked Procomps site and as I thought, it was a misprint. They're a +12 offset. Hmm. Its really a tough call for me on this one because I have 17x9 with 5"BS and mine fit great, and these would be 1/2" closer in to the spindle. I think Im going to have to say 'no' to these wheels with 285's fitting on the front. If you can find a shop to try fitting one, go for it. Otherwise these should work if you didnt mind the possibility of having to add a wheel spacer if they did have UCA/Spindle clearance issues.

4wheelparts.com lists them at a 32mm offset but you are right that the ProComp site has them at 12mm. I guess I'll have to get some help from a shop to truly determine the size and fit. What sucks is I thought I had the wheel totally figured out. Thanks for the help.

Hey, just wanted to put some closure to this. Because of your posts I went to America's Tire and got the guy to make sure the wheels/tires fit and they did. The configuration ended up being 20x9 at a +15mm offset on 285/50/R20s. The fit is snug for sure but they do fit with no issues. They also look great to. Finally, the experience at America's Tire was the best I've ever had at a tire shop, awesome guys working there, its at the corner of Sunrise and Folsom Blvd in Rancho Cordova if anyone in that area is looking for a good tire/wheel place. picture thread
