Front end movement with new tires???

    Just installed new tires after 38,000 miles. Have pressure at 32psig. Now notice a slight, but noticeable steering wheel movement above 60mph. Have noticed on several surfaces.

    Do I need to have alignment checked, or could it be that I have increased air pressure from 28-29 to 32?

    Toyota trucks have a hell of a time with tire balancing. My FJ did it and my tacoma did it when I got new tires. Have them do a road force balance. It fixed my issue both times.

    What is a "road force balance" ? Can it be done at a Discount tire dealership, or only at Toyota?

    A traditional balance doesn't take into account vibrations caused by the force of the road. So a road force balance does just that. If puts some force on the tire/wheel and balances it that way.

    Discount can do it.
