Rugged Trail BF Goodrich question?

    I noticed the latest version of the Rugged trails come white letter raised outlined verus the solid raised white letter. Any one kow if the solids are still being produced? I like the original solids much better. I actaully wish they came in yellow raised letter..anyone?

    I've seen both. I thought the white outline was the older one.

    Bought my truck new in 05 with the solids, replaced them at 80,000 miles and ended up with the outlined, so Im not sure unless there was some old stock laying around when I got my new ones in 07?

    You sure they are the exact same tire?

    The Rugged Trails on tirerack.com for example are completely different tires than the ones that come on the tacoma, despite having the same name, and they have white outlines.

    Purchased mine at Discount Tire...didn't know there was a difference. Can you still get the solids raised letter?
