My friend has these on his 07.He went from remington mudders to these. Maxxis makes great tires I run Presa's on my streetbike and their quality is second to none.

I have not ran the bighorn although I ran the buckshots on my 3/4 ton truck for a while. The tire compound was way to soft for my liking, although this probably would not be much of a problem with the Tacoma as they are quite light.

They lasted all of 14k miles on the 3/4 ton.

yeah i have them on my R1 too, and they are great tires for my bike too, but i didn't know how their truck tires hold up. you're also right about a tacoma being a whole lot lighter, and as long as they last longer then a super swamper thats good. i mean i always ran them on my jeeps, but now i'm not rock crawling or wheeling so much anymore, so i was looking for an aggressive tire that would last some miles, and from what i've seen they look the part and you can't go wrong for the price especially since they are one of the only companies that make a 255/85/r16 and thats the size i want to run. just hoping i could get some feed back from people who have them. oh yeah thanks all you guys who have responded.

wow that was a great forum, thanks so much! i'm def going to go for them, i mean last year i barely put 10k miles on my tacoma, so if they last over that i'll be psyched, cause from my previous experience with swampers and bfgs that don't even last that i'll be happy as hell. does anyone know where i can get a decent deal on them now is the second quest ha ha.

No problem, glad I could help. I was looking at them as well when I was looking for tires. Ended up going with toyo mt's only because i got them for a really good price, dont think I'd run them again on a small truck i find them to stiff.
If you do get the bighorns give an update with your opinion, i will need new tires someday and will be thinking of those again.
