Show your rig with M/T tires

I want to put MT tires but can't decide what to get. I'm down to 3 brands/models - the BFG KM2, Toyo MT and Nitto Trail. Will you please post pictures of your rig with the said tires?

I also included a poll here. Please give your comments about the tires.

Comments like:

Usage: 75% pavement, 25 % off-road
Tire wear
Noise on pavement
Will you be buying the same
Issues

Thank you.

Im gonna get a set of the Trail Grapplers next. I've seen some 295/70/17's in person and talked to the owner(local 4x4 shop owner's personal rig) and he said tons of great things about them just like the magazine reviews i've read also. Check out discounttiredirect.com, they've got some pretty good prices.

Hi relentless,

What is your reason for changing? Are you dissatisfied with the KM2?

KM2s are great offroad and track well on pavement. Can't comment on road noise because my truck's abnormally loud anyway.

I love the toyo's, better milage than the BF's since it's a harder compound and very quiet. I drive about 80% road, 20% off. I have these same tires on my tahoe and have been very happy with everything about them. Wear is outstanding. The only con is they are more expensive then the BF's. Do not know anything about the Nitto's.

Thanks GAS. You are the only one so far in favor of Toyo. I hope the others will chime in.

I have heard that Toyo tires are like 15 -20 pounds heavier then other tire. but o well look bad ass and go with with the Toyo there supposed to be really good tires.

I wanted the Toyo's but could not find them in a 285. The KM2's don't ride that bad at all. You can get them in a "D" load range and the Toyo's are only a "E" range. This makes the Toyo's heaver. That effects gas mileage, power, and ride. I'm sure that there are some with the Toyo's that will say that they love there tires, its just some stuff I looked at when I was shopping. I'm no help on the wear factor (only had them a week) Road noise is personal. If you don't like any tire noise than don't get M/t.
I think there not that loud and are totaly worth it

PS thanks gas
