Deciding between tires.

I drive a stock 2003 Toyota Tacoma TRD Xtracab. I'm looking to get a new set of tires. The kind of offroading I'll be doing will be mainly sandriding and the occasional muddy trail. I've come across some choices but would like the opinions of others. Here are the contestants:

Firestone Destination M/T 265/75/16

Kumho Road Venture MT 834 265/75/16

BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM 265/75/16

Goodyear Wrangler MTR 265/75/16

as well as the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO 265/70/16

Well I dont know much about the other tires but I can tell you I run BFG A/T's. They do good with a little mud however will slick over with too much. They are great ecspecially since its a daily driver. For sand I dont think you want a M/T, but dont know for sure. The wranglers supposedly have a little longer tread life but dont know from experience.

Thats just my little 2 cents. I hope someone can give you a little more help.

I was leaning towards the All-Terrains, but I found these others as well. The ratings for the Kumhos are great, but idk many people running them.

Besides, i want to keep my stock size for tires, hence the A/Ts. I'll keep researching and keep you guys posted. Thanks for the input!

Ya you can take those A/T's up to 265/75/16 as well and have no problems. I just barely barely rub at full turn.

Perhaps some minor fender trimming and hammering in the pinch weld would help?

If you are going to be doing some mudding then get the M/T's over the A/T's. The AT's will slick up and hold the mud.
