I want to get this wheel for my truck. I have a 08' tacoma 4x4 ext cab 2.7 5 speed. This is a 17x7.5. I am planning on getting the charcol finish. I have three questions:

    1. Does anyone have a set or know where I can get a used set? I can only find them new or reconditioned: http://www.finishlinewheels.com/TOYOTA/TUNDRA/2006/A-69440U30/

    2. What tire size would be best. I do not have a lift and I would like to keep from recalibrating my speedo. I want to get an on/off road tire like the Firestone Destination or like.

    3. Will my TPMS work from my steel wheels?

Thank you all for any input on this topic.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You don't have to recalibrate the speedo. it is actually closer to 0 with bigger tires. 265/70 or 75 will do fine. There are two types of sensors, alloy and steelies. The difference between them is the angle. I believe one is 40° and the other is 20°. I know FoxySandChick has keep the sensors when she switched wheels but I don't remember which direction she went: steel>alloy or alloy>steel.

Those are the same wheels I want to put on my 07 4x4. I found a local guy selling them on craiglist but he wants $1000 for them. HAHA

There is a guy in Connecticut called Import Tire who has those rims and will mount any tire you want on them shipped to your house. He use to sell on ebay a lot. I bought a set for my tundra a couple of years ago, the set with stock Dunlops mounted were like $950 shipped, but he will do any tire you want. Or at least he did. Shipped fast too. Just saw this post....I had stock steel wheels and went to alloy wheels, the tire shop was able to switch my tpms without a problem. People have said they just turn them around backwards or something like that. The tire shop said it wouldn't be a problem at all and they have worked for over a year now. If the shop tells you they can't do it then go somewhere else.
