at what psi will your tpms light activate?

    hmm i just checked my tire pressure and all four were over 30psi...must be my spare thats low

    I was told it was when air pressure deviates from standard by 4 psibut others say 25% off. :confused:

    It's a margin (4 or 5 psi I think) around where ever you set it to with the reset button...

    So yeah..Check the spare...and make sure they are all inside of a few psi of each other.

    7% difference. I don't think it's a set number but more like if one is 7% lower than the other 4.

    my tpms activated the other morning. all main tires were good. spare was only 23psi. refilled and reset tpms.

    Judd94 and i had the same problem i went to see which one set my light off and sure enough the spare set it off and was at 23psi

    Yep. Mine seems to go off around 23-25 psi.

    I'm not sure... but when I had them at 8PSI at Pismo the light was definitely on

    De-badged, limo tint, black wet okole's, weathertechs, extra d-rings, TSB bilsteins
    25% lower than the PSI you have them set at...so stock at 29psi is around 22-23 psi that it will turn on...to reset, put in the PSI you want in all 5 tires, then hold down the button under the steering wheel...check the owners manual for more detailed procedure.

    does the spare have the valve stem sensors, or the bands? my spare doesnt have to bulky exteral valve stem like the other ones.??

    From what i understand the spare doesnt have the sensor in it and thats for the 09 i could be wrong

    Some do some don't. The only cars with banded sensors are Fords.
