I have put a 1000pounds of concrete in my bed with no issues. I chose spidertrax because they are very reputable.

    Sucks that this happened though.

what difference would pictures make? the studs on the ALL PRO SPACERS sheared right off which allowed my tire to fall off at a stoplight. Truck is at the shop right now so getting pictures may prove to be rather difficult. Call BS if you want, makes no never mind to me

And by the way, we torqued the spacers to 100 ft/lbs which is what was called for

Jeez man, that sounds like a freak accident, sucks it happened but glad no one was hurt and the truck wasn't seriously damaged.

Still doesn't discourage me from still considering Spidertrax if I can't afford new wheels

well excuse me for saying the wrong name. I'll still say spacers because it only has 2 syllables as opposed to adapters...too lazy to say 3 syllables

the difference is that your blaming a company for a bad product, with NOTHING to bad it up.. no I dont work for them or even have any of thier products, but pictures would great, as a couple people ask to see pictures.
Its pretty hard to believe that it happened..

from my experience, spacers 'space' the wheel out from the hub and adaptors are used to make, say a 6x5.5 pattern 'adapt' to fit a 6x5, etc

not once have I blamed the company, in an earlier post I even said that sometimes somethings happen. I'm not blaming them in any way

Lets not get in a huff over everything guys. But from what has been said. It sounds like the "wheel-spacers" were installed correctly. And the the "WHEEL" was not torqued down, which could possibly shear the studs just the same as if the wheel was mounted straight to the hub and then was not torqued down. At least thats how the math adds up. No offense, but human error is usually the culprit. I know I have made a few mistakes in my time.

Despite blame, I'm sure this thread will discourage some from considering All Pros spacers.

The spacers were torqued at 100 ft/lbs and the wheels were torqued to 85 ft/lbs which is what I've always torqued to and never had any troubles. I'm not saying that I didn't do anything wrong, but I don't really think I did

    good point....

OP, i dont think i saw this answered before, but i'm assuming it was the studs on the spacer that broke, and not the stock studs, correct?
