So I have bfg km2s and I wanna get them siped for upcoming winter(I live in spokane, wa) and I have heard that it is a good idea to get the inner half of the tire siped. Anyone think this is a good/bad idea or even know why you would only want the inside half siped?

I'm not sure why someone would just sipe the inner half of a tire. It won't hurt it, but I don't see a serious benefit either. Did someone suggest this to you? On KM2's I would sipe them for sure and just in the center, about 1 1/2 inches in on each side from the outer shoulder......
