33x10.50x16

How come no one makes a 33x10.50x16 or 265x80x16?

Seriously, wtf?

 

Seems like there isn't enough width and the sidewalls would have to be super stiff to keep them from flexing.

 

they make a 34x10.5

 

So what is the next closest tire...?

33x11.50 or the metric equivalent?

Putting these on stock wheels and a 3.5in lift, with TC or LR UCA's

 

So is there a 33in tire or metric equivalent that I can run where I won't need to trim my cab mounts, I don't mind trimming the plastic but I don't want to do anything serious.

 

255/85/16 it's like a 33x10.50

 

I just want a 33 in tire without having to go over 12in wide. That is all. Or close to 33 for the damn metric sizes.

TW has way too much mixed info. I've been told too many different things from too many different people.

Yes you can, no, maybe, your rub, you will not rub, need spacers, should be fine without them, etc....

Too bad the people with this type of set up never chime in....

So frustrated.

 

I've read most every thread out there and they all have mixed info whch is frustrating, but I sure as heck don't know other wise I would not be here asking. Seems like you get different info based on who replies.

It would be nice if this stuff was more black and white or if someone had definitive info on fitments for given set ups.

It would seem kinda stupid to buy a tire to just see if it fits they have to sell them and get a new set.

Thanks! I plan on getting some wheel spacers 1.25in. that should give me enough room.

Does BFG still make a 255/85/16 in the mud terrain? Thats as close as you will get.
