    Hey guys,

I have a 2007 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 Double Cab (w/ shortbed). I'm thinking about changing my rims out for set of American Racing rims. There are 3 styles that I like. I'm not too sure about the offsets and which will fit alright. Any help would be appreciated. From what I understand the stock set-up is as follows.

    Stock: 17" x 8" with a +30 offset.

Option #1: American Racing ATX series ARTILLERY 17" x 9" with -12 offset

    Option #2: AR TACTIC 17" x 8" with +25 offset

    Option #3: AR ATX THUG 17" x 8.5" with +15 offset
Couldn't pull this one for some reason....

The other thing is that they do a teflon coating on some of their rims and I wanted to know if anyone had any input on that. I'm in the salty Midwest and would like to know if they'll hold up.

Now I'm thinking that the TACTIC would be the closest to stock since the size is the same and the offset is pretty close. I'm not lifting my truck or anything like that so I want to stay close to stock for a nice ride. Any input that you guys have would be appreciated. Thank you in advance...

Out of those, I like the Thug's best. I believe they should be 17x9 with 4.53 backspace and -12 offset. I'm not sure how these will hold out in the snow/salt, but I live in Vancouver with similiar weather (rain, snow) and I'm keeping my xd addict wheels on year round. My thinking, hey its a damn truck! If after 2 or 3 years, the rims don't look that good, and if it really bugs me, I'll just sell them and buy another set.

Thanks for the input. I'm confused about this whole setup to be perfectly honest. The guys at TireRack were not much help either.... I'll just have to keep digging up more info here to make a good decision.
