need a lift

    anybody is it worth it to get a 3" lift on the 06 tacoma 4wd for bigger tires or stick with the same size and go with a/t tires? ive got stock tires 245/75/16 not worth a damn in this carolina mush around bolton

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    i'd go w/ the 3" and get some tires to fill it in. the biggest u can go stock is a 265/75/16. and i think that still requires some trimming. where in NC are u located?

    jhodge 83 i'm down in wilmington with 17 acres out in bolton off of 74/76 am i talking to a zoomie ? i,m ex army aviation want to put on a lift just thinking about the price and time

    3" Revtek Suspension Lift with a rear aal, 285/70/17 Pro Comp Xtreme M/T & Pro Comp Extreme Alloy 7189 wheels, magna flow exhaust, CB with dual antennas, AFE Cold Air Intake, CB Radio with dual antennas and a bull horn
    just got my 3" lift and 33" tires and couldn't be happier. Definately worth every penny

    thats what we call the air force i was in helicopters nothing like flying into the air base air space and coming to a hover when the control tower tells to hold for open runway

    ahh...gotcha. the price and time of the lift all depend on size and money u want to spend.

    If you go with a 3" lift, you should be able to fit 285/75/16 (33's) on it. That should fix you right up. Quite a few people have that configuration and are very pleased with it.

    Oh Yeah!!!
    Yup, 285/75/16's... loose the Mudflaps up front and slight trimming... More than happy, and definately getting second looks while driving around. Plus, the ride is nice and solid, with good traction on road. Just make sure you go with the tires you like...
