I Need Help!

all i can say is what a weekend! so first put on some LR ucas. that went good and thats about it. took it to get aligned and then on the way to get new tires noticed it drifted left. looked at the alignment sheet and wasnt pleased.

left right

1.89 caster 2.43
.06 toe 0


front
cross camber .12
cross caster -.54

left caster isnt even close to the 2.4 i asked for and the front cross camber says it not even within specs on the sheet he gave me. so question one is do the others look alright?

next was tires, i was getting 285/75/16 wrangler duratrac and my 09 taco with a 3" ome lift plus now the lr uca and i was putting the tires on my stock wheels. when they went to put them on they couldnt even get them on cause they hit the uca, they tried putting on a 265/75/16 and they hit a little too. so what do i need to do to get them to work??? i think i have heard of wheel spacers but am not sure about them? i would like to use the stock rims cause i dont want to spend more money but if i do get new rims what offset would i need?

 

265/75s rubbed? Thats what I'm running with a 3" lift and I have stock ucas (i'm getting the LR UCAs aswell) You would think that they'd rub on the stock and not the after market...weird

well first i would get the alignment issue resolved. you should not be rubbing the 265s at all. second, with the 285s you will probably want to get some spacers. i went with trail-gear.com spacers 1 1/4 wide and with my stock wheels i ran 305/70/16s without any problems. they sell them for around $80 a pair and they are high quality.

 

les schuab said they leave the left caster lower then the right so they dont catch in ruts or something. i wasnt totally following. but they said get the tires put on and they would fix it. so what is the offset i need with that size tire. im looking at rims now.

does anyone know a good black alluminion wheel less than $125? im searching through now put this would spped up my process.

one more question, so im looking at moto metal 951's wheels and am wondering the pros and con and differances of going with the 16 x 8 with 4.5bs or the 16 x 9 with 4.5bs and -12 offset?

May have to grind your calipers slightly with these though.

 

Check your LR UCAs to make sure they're on correctly. It's possible to swap the gold bracket. They should be flat side out (with the SPC stamp showing):

thats bs.im running a 265 on stock wheels and no where near rubbing my uca.something is out of wack for sure.
