Biggest Tire

what is the largest tire and rim that would fit on a stock 4x4 taco?

Right now i have the dunlop 245/75/16's and the rear leaf tsb.

So what is the biggest tire/wheel i could fit?

AND: what is the best way to fit a bigger tire: 510's up front? will the rear tsb be enough to clear a bigger tire?

 

Yeah....265/70/17 or 265/75/16 is about the largest without serious work on a stock Taco. The rubbing issues happen when you turn or compress the wheel to full travel. So in the rear end you shouldn't have any issues.

Depends on your rim size....If you have 16 inch rims..../75/....17 inch rims /70/

A 31 or so inch total wheel (rim+tire sidewall) is about the max stock...

With a 3 inch lift under there....285/70R17s or 285/75R16s are possible with some trimming.

 

what about 5100's adjusted high?

That's almost 3 inches...so the trimming and what not should cover it.
