Hi Everyone, Im hoping someone can help me out with a problem Im running into. I have an '07 Tacoma with 16" stock wheels. Is it true there are no 16" aftermarket wheels that will fit my Taco? Ive been told by a couple different wheel dealers that no aftermarket wheels will fit over the calipers. Are wheel spacers my only option if I want to stick with 16"s?
I appreciate any input you guys have!

I was also wondering the same thing. My dealer said the same thing about no 16 inch wheels will fit my 09, I have been lookin for some black wheels for a while now...No luck. Anyone out there running a 16 inch black wheel on the newer trucks:(

it's definitely possible, the main problem is the hub bore size because our trucks have large calipers. You've just got to do some digging to find the info :)

Thanks for the info guys! I ended up ordering the Wheeler's black steel wheels....just because they were the only wheels that were guaranteed to fit. I originally wanted the DC-1's but none of the dealers could tell if they fit or not. Thanks again!

We have 16" Steel wheels that fit. For the Alum you will need to run some wheel spacers.

I'm running American Racing fuel's. 16x8, 4.5 backspacing and no fitment problems.

I've read (and had personal issues with) that so long as you have at least 4.5" of backspacing you should be fine.

The problem is finding 16" wheels with a 6 on 5.5 pattern with that backspacing. Another thing I've read is that if they are GM wheels (same bolt pattern) they will not fit because GM vehicles are lug-centric and Tacomas are hub-centric.

There are several out there (Mickey Thompson Classic Locks come to mind) and some Pro Comps, I think, but they are certainly hard to determine.
