Anyone have or know where to get black lugs? Getting ready to paint my wheels, didn't want to put the chrome lugs back on.

I powder coated the wheels on my 07 JK and found black lugs and locks from Gorilla Lugs a few years back. I called them and they informed me they didn't sell the shank style lugs for the Taco sport wheels.

One option is to paint the lugs and bake them in the oven, not sure how long the paint will stay after a few "on and offs" with the impact.

    Any info would be great,

    Ray

Gorilla should have some... Thats where I know to get them. They come in the acorn shape.

Yeah, saw those. Acorns won't work with the sport wheels. They're the shank style with the washers.

These are the lugs. Gorrilla doesn't make them in black.

I didnt think they would. I guess you could paint and bake..... Rhinoliner or PC will be too thick

I had the same problem. I painted mine black, paint chips every time I use the impact.

So, I repainted and used a hand wrench to put on and off, and the paint still chips.

After doing some more research I think these will fit if I use 2 washers on each one.

The shank length is .75 on these and I need .5 so 2 washers on each lug should do.

Cool. Have you tried them yet? You gonna be the guinea pig? :)

They come in sets of 4, gonna need 6 sets @ 5.95 = 36.00, seems doable.

Let me know, maybe I'll order 1 set and try it out before ordering the rest.
Obviously they only have 1 washer each, you thinking about just buying
washers at Home Depot? The stock washers don't come off right?

    Thanks for the link,
    Ray

I have not tried buying them, but ya I would just get washers at Home Depot.

Still deciding. If you buy them let us know how it goes.
