truck looks awesome! How much trimming did you have to do to get those 285's under it with just the daystar kit? Ive got 5100's at 2.5 or all the way up. Wonder if I could get away with those rims on my 09 dc.

My '04 with 15x8 black Wheeler's steelies and 32/11.50/15 Kumho Road Venture MTs. I am probably going to sell these soon though and go with a black powdercoated Land Cruiser aluminum wheel instead with a metric "32.

Ended up going with Treadwright 285/75/16s. They have been great tires.

i like the matte black look better. Shiny black looks cheap imo,but i'm cheap too hahaha so i just plasti dipped my rims. I liked how they look,so i probably wont be getting new rims anytime soon.

:headbang: in the same boat. The feel to them is odd too, but I get sketchy when people try to feel the texture (fear of them touching too hard and having it deform/tear).

so far so good, its not showing any ware or peeling yet. They even survived its first winter. But yes i know what you mean, people always ask my about it and they touch it too for some reason.
