I'm pretty sure they will not rub. I have 265/70-17's on my truck, and they didn't rub even before the lift...it's just a smidge taller than stock. You guys in the states are lucky...I'd give my left nut to be able to pick up Duratrac's for $209 a piece. Up here they are more like $300 a piece! I got a quote of $1300 mounted and balanced...

They shouldn't. My truck has no lift, totally stock in the front with a 3 year old rear TSB (which still makes the rear over 2" higher, but I digress...)

But my 265/70's don't rub, or I haven't noticed it if they every did. I'd say go for it, really looks nice. I can try to post a picture for you later if you'd like.

They only came out a year ago, so I'm not sure if you'll find anybody with a tonne of miles on them?! My buddy has a set on his 2500 Dodge Ram, and drives the piss out of it...has put on 20,000 kms on his and they still look close to new.

Thanks... they look bad ass... I hope I'm able to buy these in the next few months. My tires currently aren't that bad but will def need to be replaced by the spring. This winter should be interesting!

That is the only thing I'm worried about with these... I drive alot in the summer and expect them to last... I'm going to have to check these out a little more, but if i bought them on there looks. They would be on my truck ASAP!

I believe they have a 40,000 mile tread wear warranty. You have to look at it this way...it's an AT tire, and a really aggressive one at that. They provide amazing traction...almost as good as a MT, but are much quieter. You might have to make some compromises. If you want something that is gonna wear like iron you might have to look somewhere else...
I personally think they are worth it, and will be my next tire.

Here's a question... I'm buying new tires in a couple weeks and I was really looking forward to getting the Duras, but I can get the MTR Kevlars for just a little more... My question is how many miles are you getting out of your MTR's and Duras?? Is it worth the extra $48?? I drive about 50% offroad and 50% hwy. I just wanted some additional opinions other than my own... Thanks in advance!

MTR Kevlar $736 after $80 mail rebate

Indeed. I don't think you will be dissapointed. When my friend got his I jokingly asked him is they hummed him a song when he drove, and he said they didn't. Later that week we were out driving around, and they were almost as quiet as my Revo's...I was amazed! When we got our first huge snow storm the roads were backed up for hours, and even people with winter tires were getting stuck. We had to go get his daughter from his ex's house, and we drove accross the City no problems. We were driving in the ditch, and through all the stuck cars, and the tires were the shit! It was then that I decided they were the tires I HAVE to get.

Depends on how much highway driving you do. The guy at Fountain Tire told me that the MT/R's have good traction in snow, but suck on icy stuff...plus they are ungodly loud. They do look cool though. Anyone know how they do?

A coworker had MTR's on his truck - Ford - he loved them but only got about 30k out of them. And don't forget about the treadlightly.org rebate...join tl for $25 and get a $100 rebate. Good on any GY tires through the end of the year.
