How many miles on the tires ? If they're relatively new than they're still sticky and thats why they're picking up so much rocks on you.

strongly considering DuraTracs for my next tire. Just wish they had a few more sizes, something between a 285/70/17 and a 315/70/17.

Love mine...have had them for a month now and could not be happier with the look or the way they perform in snow or on ice. They are plain bad ass...

With these tires having a lip protector on them, is anybody having problems balancing them?

My BF ATs do this all the time. Whenever I hear that clicking sound coming from my tires I just keep speeding up and it always seems to fly out pretty quickly.

It is a little pain in the *ss, but I did mine without too much of a problem... I ruined a few weights in the process...

so far so good. 12,000 miles on them and haven't lost a single weight or had any vibration from them at any speed.

Damn do we all work for goodyear or something? LOL

Sorry, I ment with the alignment. I know somebody else has had some issues with being able to get the alignment clamps over their wheels. Not sure if it is because of this or if it's cause he is sooo anal he doesn't want to scratch a painted wheel.

Very true except I'm sure you do have a flimsy heat shield, you just have never had your truck off road or hit anything that would damage it.

I dont think it should be a problem at all
If you have a goodyear dealer close by, stop in for a closer look
once i saw them up close, i made a appointment right away to install.
when there you could ask if they think there would be any problems with you rims

Ok so i'm seriously considering these tires...but i found this online and i'm wondering if you guys think it's legit or not...there's this web site http://www.treadlightly.org/ i'm not sure what it is exactly but that have this promotion that if you join this group (its like 25.00 for a year) you get a 100 mail in rebate if you buy four goodyear wrangler tires...kinda seems worth it to spend the 25 to join to save another 75 bucks on the tires huh? so i'm thinking discount tire gives you 50 rebate (with card) 20 mail in from goodyear and if that about discount works then you saving like 145.00 on four duratracs right?

Front (2.75" total): 1.6" Eibach coils, Toytec 0.5" (L) & 0.25" (R) top plate spacers, 5100's @ 0.85", Built Right uniball UCA's, Differential drop, Removed sway bar Rear: TSB springs, Wheeler's 1.5" AAL, 5100's, 2* shims, Carrier bearing drop, F and R Spidertrax, 285/75-16 Goodyear Duratracs, Self-fabbed sliders, rear bumper, and skid plates, Cobra 75 CB, Bed lined slim lo-pro tool box, Bed Extender, Diff breather mod, Two tail gate security mods, Exhaust dumped behind axle, Can't leave shit alone so plenty more coming...
I had 285/75/16 Duratracs put on today. I am doing the Tread Lightly rebate ($100 minus a $25 join fee). Tread Lightly is a well respected organization so I'm sure the rebate is legit. I've got it all filled out, now I just need to mail it. It says you can't combine it with other Goodyear rebates so the $20 is out. Perhaps the Car Care one still works.

Ok I'll have to join then once I buy em'. That's fine I don't get the 20 rebate. I'd rather have the 100 rebate anyways :)
