    I have a set of 265/70/R17. What pressure do you guys recommend for them? Right now they're at 38 psi.

    It's all personal preference, depending on how you like your ride. Me personally, I run 35F/38R when I'm towing, 35F/32R when I'm not.

    Just got both of my refunds today from GY and Tread Lightly. Total cost for 4 285/75R16s $1105 + $25 for TL membership = $1130 - $60 - $100 = $970! :woot:

    Tax refund should be back soon, the wife gave me the green light (FINALLY) to get a set of duratrac's. I'm guessing discount tire is about as cheap as most places to get a set. Should be posting a pic on here in the next week hopefully!

    I've read other posts referring to 285/70-17 C load rated Duratracs but only see D load/8-ply. Mine are D load range. Where did you get C load rated Duratracs???

    Hey guys,
    Im buying new wheels soon and wanted to purchase some duratracs to wrap them. did some research and decided on these tires. From what i've read they are great tires to have considering the price. found a place that has them in 265/70/r17 C for $239.99 a tire plus tax. Is this a good price? its the lowest ive found. I might just purchase these soon if they are. Thanks again.

    My 285 duratracs are BEASTS in the snow. 30" unplowed roads are no problem, they float right on top. Pretty impressed, its nice to be able to drive around when everyone else is snowed in. The plow guys haven't even been able to make it here yet.

    That seems to be about the going rate for these tires at that size. Every now and then 4wheelparts will have blowout sales and sell them dirt cheap. I got my 265/75/16s for about $165 a tire about two years ago from them. They had something ridiculous, like 20% off all tires, and I couldn't pass that up. But $239 is still a decent price for these tires.
