There are white letters on one side of the tire and black on the other side. As stated above you would want white letters in if you wanted a black sidewall.

Yes, I have posted a zillion times about how much I am enjoying these tires and how well they work in mud, snow, desert and sand... and most important they are quiet on the highway where we do 90% of our driving.

Because they are one inch taller, and increase our ground clearance 1/2 inch, they make the too fast speedometer read correctly now and raise the truck a little.

There is NO RUBBING under any conditions. I do not have the TSB because my 2010 truck doesn't need it (no bottoming out with a load, but my '05 did, so I know how it feels).

Because gas mileage was false before due to the faster turning odometer, the apparent mileage drops 1/2 to 1 MPG... but it is true now... and the tires themselves are not gas robbers, IMO.

Photos with Hankook Dynapro ATm 265/75-16 on my truck...

So I understand that this size fits (265/75r16) and I have already got my mind set on the ATM's, so my question is: Does anyone rub when flexed out? I don't have a lift yet, don't have the money for a lift yet, but I seriously need better tires. 1000 miles on the AT20's and I am ready to throw them into a fire...
When you are flexed out, do you have any rubbing problems?

ha ha, I even read every post. don't know how I missed it...

I'd like to pose the question to regular cab owners though too. I just don't want to get tires and find out they rub when flexed out.

A regular cab is less weight than a double cab... less chance of rubbing... and my DC never rubs... Even if it did once in a blue moon... big deal if you off road. But, they don't.

Seeing that none of us you care to trust with our answers, I would be pleased if you just got the stock tire size... I don't want to hear you cry if you can actually make them rub by doing something crazy.

wow, that's a really hostile response. I trust you and your opinions, and the information you give. I'd still like to be thorough when doing my research. I have searched through the forums looking for the answer. I have the question in another thread that is specifically for a regular cab.

You have different wheels with a different offset, so you may not rub and I could. I am just trying to gather all the information before I pull the trigger on upgrading to another size. I'm sorry if I have offended you by directing my question to some who has the same truck that I do.

Not at all Hayes... ask away... one day you may get a different answer!?? Has ANYONE here ever had a 265/75-16 rub?

Sorry if I sounded hostile... I was just wondering how many times you were going to keep asking the same question, that's all.

I really am happy with the Hankooks, I made a good choice... and it was TW members posts here plus Tacoma drivers I met with them, too.

I don't recall one negative post about these tires.:D

It's ok. I'm just looking for a response on a regular cab. Sounds like I have my answer now. I am going to look into getting these tires before winter, cause the AT20s suck balls.

Btw, im running the "p" version instead of "lt". Its cheaper and a little lighter. No problems wheeling in the rocky deserts of nevada.

I plan on getting the p-metric. I will get 5, with warranties from discount tire. That way, if anything happens, I cancan change out the spare and get a new one for free.

I worked there for a number of years. I have no problem if it's repairable, just repairing it. I meant for sidewall damage. The Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) says sidewalls are unsafe to repair. Discount Tire will replace them. I am going to see my old boss Wednesday to look into tires.

okay so i got a set of OR 2nd gen wheels and Ive been looking at the dynarop atm RF10's. moneys kinda tight so i wanted to get the P265/75/16 instead of the LT265/75/16. alot of people say the P tires are weaker than the LT, but i have a 96 2.7l reg cab and thought that its alot lighter than a DC and AC so would i be fine with these tires? also heard that the P metric tires have a 2ply sidewall not a single ply sidewall. i will go on runs with these tires snow/beach/dunes/mud things of that matter. but that will probably only be 15% of my driving. sorry dont know if my explanation was clear.
