What makes a baja wheel?

What makes a baja wheel a baja wheel? is it just the way it looks or is there a structural thing?

No idea. I just went with a sufficiently light wheel that had a reasonably high load capacity. A lot of serious offroad folks run steel wheels because they can be beat into submission if they're smashed into rocks and dent.

I hope to slow down before I get to that point.
