I'm planning on buying new tires very soon, but at the same time, I'm looking for a place where I can get 'em the cheapest. I've spent the past 2 hours visiting websites and their prices are pretty steep. I'm looking for all-terrains on 285/75/16, but if you guys can find m/t with a decent price, then I wouldn't mind that either. Thanks guys.

i also recommend discount/america's tires. i bought a set of bfg all-terrains (31x1050r15) last october for $670 OTD (+ a $70 bfg manufacturer discount). originally quoted almost $900, but negotiated 'em down.

You gotta consider cost of having them mounted and balanced though.
I too had this dilemma and having lifetime rotations and mounted and balanced in the cost is what sold me in buying through a local tire dealer.

Mine were 265s not 285s. Add $60 for mounting and balancing for 5 tires.
