I went to the Firestone shop to take a look at the Destination AT that I have read about here and they look like a good AT tire. Most of my driving is on the highway with the occasional trail. The guys says they come in 4 ply, 6 ply and 10 ply. I am going to get a set next weekend as they are on sale in 265/75/16 on the stock SR5 wheels. Which ply do I want?
I dont know much about tires, and the only other truck tires I have ever owned were BFG MT and AT's like 10 years ago on my 1.5 ton chevy. My last 4x4 had BFG AT's on them, but I believe they only come in 10 ply and are too heavy for the Taco.
Also, they Firestone tire guy told me that the Bridgestone Dueler AT (not the Revo) is the same price and is a better tire. Anyone feel that is true? It looks almost the same, maybe just a little less aggressive than the destination. Tanks for any help, Carlo

I have the destinations in 285/70/17 6 ply. They do have a bit of road noise but i really like them. My truck had Duelers on it and they suck ass!
