I am looking at getting the dick cepek dc-1 wheels in the 16x8 i have seen them on tacomas befor but the guy at the website said "
Hi, our 16” wheels are not an approved fitment for your vehicle because of caliper clearance. However our wheels are compatible with TPMS sensors.

is this true or are they just trting to get me to buy bigger ones ?
and will the stock tires fit on them?

i have read on here and there are some people asking the same thing i just cant figure out a straight anser.

my truck is a 09 regular cab 4x4 with the 16inch steel wheels

Don't know if you've gotten an answer yet, so here's a free bump for ya. I don't know the answer to be honest...I know my buddy has them but they're 17 or 18s I think.

EDIT: Wonder if you could get spacers to make em clear?
