[IMG]I recently lifted my truck 3" in the front and 2" in the rear. I found that i still rub after taking off my mud flap and cutting the plastic piece in the front on the tire. I'm still rubbing at the aft part of the tire on the frame. This only happens when i hit a dip while turning a little sharp. Can i cut then reweld to make the clearance work. I've gotta get some pics. I'm just barley missing while turning stationary. What do you guys think i should do? I saw in a recent trend that someone did what i've been thinking about doing but i didnt save it cause ive heard that people arnt rubbing after installing at 2.5" and 3" of lift up front.

Do a quick search for "cab mount" - there's a detailed thread here somewhere showing the cut and weld. Hope it helps.

Socalsupertrucks.com makes a cutting stencil and weld-on plate for $50 for this problem. I'm gonna get a kit, and plan on doing a writeup on their setup.

Hey, I was just wondering what kind of side-steps you have on your Tacoma?

    Thanks!
