I currently have the 16" TRD OR wheels (09) and I'm thinking about buying 17" wheels and going with 285/70/17s. If I do that what do you recommend for a spare tire?

Do I need to buy a 5th wheel and use the same tire as the other 4 or can I use my stock spare wheel? If so what size tire should I use?

    Thanks a million! :D

    getting there....
you could always probably keep the 16 inch wheel...but get a used 16 inch tire thats is equivalent to the 17, if you can find one.

Yeah....285/70R17 is like a 33....so you need a tire on that 16" spare that is about 33" too. Rim size doesn't matter as long as the over all diameter is the same.
