What do you keep yout PSI at?

What do you keep your PSI at? Mine are at 45 right now but usually i keep them at 40. Is this too much?
Ive got AT 265/75/17

 

33-34 in my AT....what kind of tires do you have?

Chalk Line Test- 100% of the time it works pretty damn well.

Search it cause I don't really feel like typing it out again...

 

32 psi with stock tires. Even tire wear after 17,000 miles and 5,000 mile rotations.

 

It will vary. Do the chalk line test.

 

35 before lift. 29 both ends after lift.

 

265/75/16 Load range C= 42psi works for me.

 

33-35. 40 and up your tires are probably going to wear way faster than you'd like!

My tires call for a max of 65psi. I run 56-58 in front and 54-56 in rear. I have BFG AT 285/70/17

Never over 35psi. Usually keep them around 30-32.

 

i keep my 265.75.16 at 40

 

Street driving, 32 PSI at all four corners in roughly 60 degree weather. Offroad I air down to the situation.

PSI will vary about 1 PSI per 10 degrees of temperature change...also, on a sunny day you'll gain a couple as well. This is why it's important to watch your tire pressure as seasons change.

 

The reason i ask is because my ride is really bumpy. I was hoping that by kicking the PSI down to 34-36 it would ease the bumpiness a bit. i dont wanna kill my MPG though.

 

I get about 18 MPGs with my 285/75/16 KM2s at ~34 PSI. You just need to drive slow.


The tires soak up a lot of bumps.
