What backspace should I get?

Im new to the forum and I am beefing up my Taco some but I am not sure about the wheels I am looking at.

I have a 2010 DC and I got a 3 inch lift on it, and I am wanting to put 285/75/16's and new wheels on it and the wheel I am looking at has a 4.5 backspace will It fit or do I need to get a different backspace on it to keep it from rubbing to where I have to do more than cut the fender wells?

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Welcome to TW! That BS will work, but you will still need to trim a little bit with that size tire.

4.5 sticks out a little bit giving it a more of an aggressive stance.

A -12mm 4.5 bs wheel is usually 9 inches wide. where as a 0mm 4.5bs wheel is 8" wide. the -12mm will stick out farther than the 0mm. Both will work for what your wanting. but the 0mm may require a little less trimming.
