    Hey guys,

I tried searching this, but nothing came up.

I heard a rummor that Chevy Silverado 1500 6 lug rims bolt right up with a 2005 toyota tacoma 6 lug pattern??

I found some silverado rims that I reaaaallly like.. and im about to buy them. I just wanna make sure they will fit before i go out and blow 500.00!! ha.

    thanks!!

Couldn't tell you if they fit but it might be awkward with the bowtie in the center

IIRC, the other way from toyo to chevy would work for sure...hub size for chevy is smaller than toyo's. if the aftermarket wheel was designed to fit more then just chevy's, then you may be ok. best way to be certain is a test fit

if that is true then they are not "silverado" rims, they just fit on a silverado

bolt pattern 6 on 5.5 has always been Chevy, Toyota, Nissan but yes the hub is what your going to have to worry bout clearing in the front

    Okay. thanks yall!

But, ya see i come from mostly atv and dirtbike back grounds ( motor, and mechanics wise) and doesnt the wheel sit on the hub? so how would it have to worry about clearing it..?

different brands/models the hubs are different sizes, if the hub on the tacoma is larger then the one on the chevy then more than likely it wont clear it. i guess you can say that it sits on the hub, more fits around it

^^ yup yup...different vehicle manufacturers use different hub sizes for different vehicles. the bolt pattern may be the same, but it doesnt mean the hub is.
