I am looking for new tires for my 06 Tacoma 4x4. Stock rims and a 2 inch leveling kit. I'm going to run 265x75x16. I have NO idea which one to buy. Goodyear Silent Armor looks awesome but a lot of $. What are other people running? I've searched thread after thread and can't find any good arguments to buy any one brand. I do on and off roading. Only light off roading, but would still like a somewhat agressive tread. PLEASE HELP. Let me know what your running on your ride. Thanks SOOOO Much!

For the money I am a Cooper Tire guy, there not as cheap as you would think going up against Goodyear Or Michelins, but in my area they're readily available and they are a good tire.

I got BFG all terrains. I don't believe a tire can reach their popularity level without a good reason. So far I am pleased. They have an aggressive look, they function well in all weather, on and off road, tread wear is very good.

    getting there....
i have bridgestone dueler a/t revos, and these tires are great. a bit pricey, but they are a really good, smooth riding tire, and great off road too. they have an aggressive tread, but they are actually pretty quiet on the highways and interstates. when we had our meet the other weekend, i went thru mud and rocks on trails, and the tires handled all really well.

check out tirerack.com.....they have great comparisons and all for alot of different tires.

I have the goodyears on my jeep grand cherokee and they do a great job. Work really good on road and fantastic in the snow/ice. I have not had them off road yet but they look like they will be a good tire for regular off road fun, mud not to much to rocks should be pretty good.

I'm running Pirelli Scorpion ATR'S on stock TRD Sport wheels. They balanced perfectly, so they are smooth and very quiet running. Handling in the snowy Sequoia hills was awesome....
