FJ TRD Center Caps on 16 TRD Off Road wheels

Rather than buying new wheels, thinking of joining everyone else and painting my stock 16 inch Off Road wheels black. I have seen several examples of people using the FJ Trail Team black center cap on the 17 inch Sport wheels.

I have read some mention that these center caps could fit the 16 inch Off Road wheels with trimming or sanding. Can someone point me in the right direction to confirm this before I order the center caps? Also, a pic would be awesome if anyone has the Off Roads with the FJ black center caps on em.

Check this thread I made months back.. And check the posts in them.. I decided not to go with these because the dealers wanted $60 a piece because they were the "trail team" center cap. Keep in mind, this was few months back.

Looks like they fit with just a little sanding. Gonna order em since prices look like around $10 each. Thanks.

FRESHMAN - HOW DID YOU CUT THESE TO FIT ^^^

Ive been scouring the entire internet, and I am a member of the FJCRUISER FORUM, and a link has taken me here to tacomaworld --- FRESH you have the same exact wheel as i do, and I am also in the process of painting them black. Ive seen instruction on how to cut the TRD CAPS using a dremel, but i still cannot get them to fit on my stock FJ 17" --- I see you were successful. Can you please share how you were able to do this?
