I am thinking about getting the xd766 diesel for my tacoma. I know the ideal 17x9 offsett and backspacing would be 4.5 and -12 offset. these wheels only come in 0 offest and 5" backspacing. would these work? Would they stick out more or less than the 4.5 with -12 offset?

Those will work but you'll only be able to run 265's on them. They will stick out less than the 4.5" BS.

If you want to run 285s eventually, you will need a lift and 4.5" BS.
