Anytime there's a different diameter it'll change. That said from the factory its a 5% range of accuracy, so if your worried about tickets and such, don't! You will be fine. That's such a miniscule difference

There's definately variability between different tire manufacturers, even though the tires are labeled as the same size.

It surprises me that the coopers are 3/4" shorter than the stock 265/70/16's though. That's a fairly large difference. Were the stock tires new and the coopers fairly used?

My truck has about 600 miles on it, so the stock tires are pretty much brand new. The coopers are new as well, but they are on 8" rims while the stock wheels are 7". That is the only difference that I can think of that would make the coopers shorter.

I wouldn't think that the rim width would change the tire diameter. It would have a minor effect on the tire width.
