In the process of buying some steel wheels for my 2001 TRD Tacoma and just received a call from the vendor saying my selection would not work. I thought I had done enough research and still don't see any problems with my choice but figured I'd see if there was something I wasn't seeing.

My selection was a set of Pro Comp's Rock Crawler, Series 52 wheels (D window) 16x8, 6-5.5 with 4" backspacing. Vendor called and told me this particular selection would not work for my application because of brake clearance in the rear. I think he's wrong buy I would just like some feedback from anyone who has had any expericenc with the Pro Comps and could confirm my selection.

BTW, here is the link to the wheels:

    thanks

The specs are right but did you make sure to get lug centric and not hub centric....

I had great and fast customer service from 4wheelonline.com, dont know if that company/website is reputable or not....

Yeah, they are lug centric. I'm just a little confused since I was speaking to an "expert" from the vendor.
