uneven wear on nitto grapplers?

i have some 265/70/17 nitto's on stock sport wheels, .85" lift on the front. i noticed the other day that the outer tread is wearing more than any part of the tread on the front tires. so i first thought my alignment was off, took it in to sears since the alignment is still under warranty.

he put it on the machine, printout came back perfect within specs. nothing out of specs or extreme. he said being that it is an aggressive a/t tire it might wear unevenly. i know that is true but would that account for an uneven wear like i stated earlier??? anyone with nittos have this same problem?

Also, i am rubbing at when i make hard turns at low speeds. it doesnt have to be full lock to rub either. thought 265/70's did not rub???

Rotate them every 5k miles at a minimum. otherwise they will wear unevenly.

I have some Nitto DG's and they wear out evenly. I rotate them about every 5K.

Post your alignment print out...They may say "Specs", but if its not right, the tires will weear.

if it's warn in the middle your tires are over in flated, if the edges are worn it's under inflated....i think

Alignment was done in march by Sears. Barely 3000 miles on them since then.
