I am looking for some help on figuring out what tires to buy. I have a 06 tacoma prerunner off road w/ stock 265/70/16 tires. I have a 3" front, 2 1/2" back rough country lift/level kit. I am looking for a very aggresive sidewall but very good on the highway. I want to fill the wheel wells as much as possible. I am planning on staying the stock 16" rims. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    getting there....
    welcome to tw.

you can probably go with a 285 tire....but you'll need wheel spacers or uca's with the stock wheels. thats if you are wanting that size. they look good....but i think 265/75/16 looks good as well.

tires i can suggest are some goodyear wrangler duratracs.....toyo open country a/t or m/t....nitto terra grapplers.....bridgestone dueler a/t revo's.

Or if your really looking to fill those wells, you can go with a 255/85/16 tire but the choices are very limited. I have the cooper discoverer s/t's and love them.

Here are 265/75/16 Goodyear wrangler duratracs on stock suspension. Definitely agressive sidewall and tread and relatively quiet on the road.

^Nittos would also be good though. I considered both when buying :)

Thanks for all the input, I am going w/ the Goodyear Duratrac 265/75/16 tires. They have the very aggresive sidewall i was looking for. I'll post how they ride when I get them installed.
