km2's and rain?

anyone? how do they do?

 

I haven't had a problem. Going on a year now.

 

Perfectly fine here. Better than my BFG AT's.

The KM2's kick ass on the street in the rain, or no rain. They just kick ass. Period.

i dont have as good of luck with them in the rain as everyone else here...

must be a 2nd gen thing... hahahah

i have 14/32 on mine now and in the rain, im sliding on turns...

i live in a canyon, and they dont hold up too well if aired up over 34psi in the rain...

when it rained a couple months ago, i aired down to 30psi and they handled a little better...

 

Hmm, when I got them from the tire shop they set them to 40psi front and 38 rear and I was able to take 45mph warning turns at 65 with them going over the mountain pass in the pouring rain. I've since lowered them to 35 front and 32 rear, but I thought they did great for what they are.

 

the turns in our canyon are 15mph, and at 25, i slid onto the oncoming lane...

thank God there was no car coming up on the other side...

but lately, on the same turns dry, if i have the PSI over 35, the tires are sliding and screeching, although its kinda fun to drift on some of the curves...

 

oh, i should add that i have 30,000 miles on the tires, so they are a little worn...

 

my bfg ats are horrible in the rain. i was accelerating a bit on an on ramp to the freeway and turned into tokyo drift.
