Falken Tire Question?

Ok guys I need some help, my dad went to price some tires today for his 01' Tacoma and for his 02' Dodge Ram 2500. Well he stumbled onto some Falken tires for a fairly good price. He told me that the tire guy said that Falken would let him try them for 30 days and if he didn't like or want them for any reason they would take them back and refund his money totally. The tire man also said that they were pretty popular on the west coast, but whatever. I need you guys' input for him, anyone have them and any personnal reviews would be great! Thanks ahead of time.

Started seeing adds for them in Four Wheeler, Off Road and Peterson's magazines... I would like to hear more about them.

I did a search on these just the other day. Liking the looks for their new Wild Peak AT. But what I read on here about Falken wasn't that inspiring.
Subbed to see what people have to say...

o the high country yeah we sell a lot of thos at discount they seem to be a pretty good and reliable tire for the price if you have the money id go with the Michelin at2s or crossterains they are a lot better tire but they are a bit on the pricey side

Its a pretty solid tire. It will give you an alright tread life and is not likely to blow out or anything like that. But from what I hear and my own experience with another edition of a falken tire, they don't have the best traction. If your looking for a tire you can take off road, that's around the same price range, you should check out the HANKOOK DYNAPRO ATM. Its a very inexpensive tire and great off road. Of course if you have the extra money the BFG all terrain is the way to go!

Well he is now trying to the Falken Landair H/T's. He didn't go with the High Country's for some reason. The H/T's don't look that bad. I woke up this morning and he had already went and got them. Any more reviews on the brand Falken? I will let you know when I find out what he thinks about them.

Well he gave my dad gave me a report on them and he really likes them he says they ride pretty smooth. He said that they are a little stiff and handled a little different than his previous Rugged Trail tires, but they were practically bald so I told him that was probably why. But he really enjoys them. So two thumbs up to Falken Tires. It makes me want to try out the High Country AT tire. Anyone have any reviews on Falken?

I've seen them on a few trucks and they look like a middle of the road AT to me. A little on the tame side to be a true AT, almost more like and aggressive all season tire IMO.

I used to run Falkens on my Camry, obviously a little different situation with sedan vs truck but I loved them on the car, great price, great tread life, and rode pretty damn smooth

I had Falken S/TZ04's on my 2006 Tundra and thought they were excellent tires for the price.

I also had some Falken's on a Sonoma I had back in 2002 and they were pretty decent tire as far as I could remember.
