Street legal beadlocks

I've always been told that REAL beadlocks are illegal to run on the street, but i just found these that are DOT approved and look pretty cool. maybe i'll have to get a set if they dont break the bank: http://www.rockmonsterwheels.com/new567.htm

all i saw on the site was some polished ones, but it'd definately be simple to just paint a set if they dont offer them in black.

i dont think those are true lockers dude, they look like imitation ones

 

no, they're a real double-bead lock, just not the typical design. they use a 2 piece wheel with a spacer ring that presses the tire beads to the wheel at the same time when the two halves are tightened together. IMO its pretty trick really.

it appears that they cost in the $400/ea neighborhood. It also looks like black is a color choice too.
