Hey all, I have the TX Edition 20" rims on my 09 DC Prerunner.....currently with 265/50/20 toyo's. I've been considering getting a lift to accomodate larger tires down the road..like some 285/50/20's. But I'm still deciding if a lift is something I want to do...if I chose to stay with the stock height, could I just put some beefier tires say Cooper Zeon LTZ's at 265/50/20 or 275/45/20's and be done with it? I'm not sure about the dimensions of the TX Ed. rims....I think they are TSS.

You can go up to 265/55/20's on stock suspension. That's roughly equivalent in diameter and width to 265/75/16's, which a lot of people run on here with no problems.

Not to thread jack but I was looking at wheels and a lift today at 4 Wheels Parts for my 2010 DC/Sport. With a 20" wheel and a 3" lift would 305/50/20s fit? I'm figuring I couldn't go any wider than 285 without having to do major cutting. I don't mind trimming a little but not looking to shave cab mounts. For 18s he was trying to tell me 305s would work with a 3" lift but I am figuring the same thing as the 20 inch wheels. Figuring I am maxed out at 285 without major trimming. Thoughts?
