Tires.com / Nitto Terra Grapplers QUESTION

Ok im getting ready to replace the tire on my 07 base 4x4 for the first time. I have the stock steelies (although painted) As best I can tell I should be able to jump from the 245/75/16 Dunlaps to the 265/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers without any problem. Am I correct in this???? Also Ive done some shopping and am probably going to go with tires.com.
1. They are trying to see me tpms rebuild kits/ I dont think I need these right? I have had the tires broken down twice now and never needed that.
2. Will I need to replace the valve stems? I cant remember I did this when I had the tires remounted after the wheels were painted.

Yes you can fit those fine

Im not sure but I don't think you need a rebuild kit

You do not need to replace the valve stems

OK, another Question about the Nittos. Right now I have the stock Dunlaps 245/75/16. I thought that I would just go with the 265/75/16 Terra Grapplers (they are not made in the 245- you have to to wider). I was pricing them at NTB and they told me that It would propably be better to go with the 265/70/16 Terra Grapplers to keep the ratio much closer and not have to recalibrate the speedo. Anybody know anything about this? Is this true????

What the difference between the 245's PLUS the 265 comparisions will open your eyes too...

why dont u get ur tires at discount tire... they beat any price u find... about the tpms: tpms sensors can be rebuilt with a rebuild kit and it replaces the rubber gromet, washer and the screw down top piece that holds it all together and the reason for rebuilding them is just like replacing a valve stem because the parts do fail eventually. fyi- i am a part time discount tire employee going on 2 years

Wow that is pretty awesome. Great tool. The 265/70/16 are pretty close I guess. At 65 MPH I will only be off by about 1/3 MPH.
