Yep, they should fit in general on the stock rims. Exactly what brand of tire are you talking about though

    Thanks!

I sure hope so! Everyone says you will need to trim with 285/70/17 or else they will rub. And if you ask me there is no point in installin the billies if I am only going to run 265/70/17's as those will fit with the stock suspension. I figure 275/70/17 is a good middle ground...

    Any other thoughts?

I ran 275/65/17 TRD stock wheel. I then have a local shop installed 275/70/17 to see if they fit but, they WON't fit because it rubbed so bad on stock UCA . Im running all 4 corners of 5100 @ 1.75 "

Sanga, maybe they would have fit at 2.75 instead of 1.75? no?

with 275/70/17 I think you have to run with aftermarket wheels with big backspacing or wheel spacers with stock wheels at 1.75"

OK . Here is my advise why don't you go to your local tire shop talk to them and have them mount 2 front tires . That's the best way you could decide yourself .

With 265/70/17 on stock suspension I was fine.. With 5100's set at 1.75 I had to trim. Yes this is 265's,, so with a larger tire you would also need to trim.

Every truck had a bit diffirent . Im currently running 265/70.17 handkook tires with all 4 corners of 5100@1.75" without any rub at all . Also I ran 265/75.16 or 275/65/17 without any rub at all .

wow..differences.. You're telling me.. My truck can't have billies @ 1.75 in the rear.. And you have 1.75 at all 4 corners??? Wow.. J/K...

my rub was not driving, was when wheel was turned, and I went over speed bump or into driveway...

    Biltein's 5100 @1.75, TSB suspension

Im running michelin 265/70/17 on mine with 5100s front set at 1.75 and tsb leaf in rear. i did get very minor rub on arms, which stopped in a couple months, and certainly never had to cut anything.

now im wanting a slightly larger tire.. maybe a 275/70/17, but will probably set the front at 2.5 and add another leaf to rear.. but dont know yet if this is possible on stock rims and if it is whether or not it will cause any problems.. will prob just get new rims..

    ...still researching
