2010 4WD Crew cab Wheel Selection?

    I just purchased a 2010 4wd crew cab and the first thing I want to do is upgrade the wheels and tires. In looking into this it seems it's not as easy as I thought it would be. I found some nice looking 17" Moto Metal 957's but I don't kmow if I need to get a lift kit so they'll fit right and if I don't lift the truck will they stick out too much with 275 70/17 tires. The guy at 1-Stop Rim Shop said it's hard finding after market wheels to fit this truck.
    If anybody has some pics with this truck with after market wheels I would ove to see them.

    My advice would be for you to get rims with 4.5" backspacing. With this setup, you can run 265/70/17's on stock suspension or 285/70/17's with a 3" lift.

    I have no idea what the guy means by it being hard to find wheels that fit these trucks.

    ^ maybe, but that's only an issue with 16" wheels.

    you came to the right place for info. I believe you may have some rubbing issues with that size tire on stock suspension.

    Check out the suspension forum. There is a stickied thread with all sorts of info.

    Two good quality lifts that are relatively inexpensive are bilstein 5100 shocks, or OME shocks and springs.
