So I called 4 Wheel Parts today to get some Robby Gordon wheels, with spacers for the wheel to fit the caliper. The guy tells me the RG wheels aren't the best wheel because they shake, and that every time I rotate my tires I will have to re-balance. I have the KING C/O setup up front with the TC UCA's...would this setup not help with that shaking? Any thought's or experience with this issue would be appreciated.

He also goes on to tell me about the Method Race wheel's...which look real good and all but i'm just a fan of the RG's. I've had a fully caged, 85% built 98 F-150 and ALWAYS wanted the RG's for it but couldn't afford them then...now that I can, I still want them for the Taco.

I'm daily driving this by the way, no intentions to off road the taco. So please, chime in!

Methods are going to be A LOT lighter of a wheel then the RGs. Just something to think about

I personally don't like the way they look but that's me. One thing is to check the backspacing they come in.

What are some wheels that you would recommend checking out...in reference to the RG's and the Method racing look?

I'm leaning toward the method racing wheels.

Do it! I've had my eye on them for awhile...just gotta figure out how to move my current wheels (factory baja wheels) in order to get them.

I too am making the exact same decision right now.... I REALLY love the RG's and would love to support a fellow off road racer.. but when its not in the budget, there is nothing I can do. So my second choice is the Methods. I like the way the look, price, ect. 0mm offset is OK I guess. It just means I would look into getting a spacer.

Personally, if you got the money go with the RG's. If now, Method sure is a great wheel too. What spacers do you plan on running? Im still doing research myself on it.

I have kmc enduros. Great wheel tough as hell. Hit one on a boulder doing 45 and it didn't break. Still running like a champ. I also live the methods. Great wheel, light, good looking and they are dirt cheap. We run them on the race car and a few if the chase trucks.

Side note RG is a tool!

just to throw it out there, the suspension is not going to have any effect on wheel balancing/shake issues. Dont know much about the racelines, but the motometals, methods, and kmc's are all good wheels that are relatively light, and therefore you should not have any rebalancing issues when you rotate them(unless you knock a weight off, tear a chunk out of the tire or etc..)

I am in the process of getting the Raceline Renegade 6's but am confused about the 16's. The dude tells me the 16's will hit the caliper and I should go with 17's. Looks to me like people are running the 16' with no problems...but I could be wrong. Any input guys...I want to buy TODAY!.

Seen several people running the 16's. Just double check your backspacing and bore size to make sure they fit.

I too wanted the RGs but alittle pricey for me so I settles for the 16" Methods for my 05
