tire tread depth

    Anyone know of any all terrain tires that have over an inch of tread on them?

    no way you're gonna find an AT with that kind of tread depth.

    what kind of tires have that kind of depth?? mud tires only?

    yeah. For example BFG KM2's have on average 20/32 of an inch of tread depth.

    Even the super swamper bogger only has a maximum of 29/32 of an inch of tread depth.

    Average All terrains will have around 16/32's.

    yeah, tread depth is usually measured in 32nds though.

    ATX Mojaves with 265/75 16 Hankook Dynapro ATMs, Spidertrax 1.25" spacers (front and rear), Bilstein 5100 all around up front set at 1.75", Blacked out badges, Pioneer AVIC D3 DVD/NAV Head Unit, K&N Air Filter, Tyger Tri Fold Tonneau Cover, Rockford Fosgate Punch Speakers.
    After doing a lot of research on AT tires, it seems the average tread depth is around 13-15/32, so a little less than 1/2 an inch.
